Each year, the lions Club presents a scholarship to a graduating senior at our local Clear Creek High School.

We screen several hundred preschoolers' vision at various public and private schools over four counties in Colorado.
At one school we worked jointly with the Nederland Lions Club:
As a fund raiser each year, the Lions Club helps with the Fall Foliage Relay Race, which runs from Idaho Springs to Buena Vista.
Lions Carolyn and Jim started checking running teams in at 3:30 am.

Each year, the Lions Club sponsors a health fair in town. People can register online, or just walk in. They can get low-cost blood tests, free screenings in a number of health areas, and in-depth information about many health topics.
This year, the Lions partnered with the Rotary Club to provide volunteers. All-in-all, fourteen Lions and Lions family members participated.
